She's been a Desperate Housewife for years - but now Teri Hatcher says she not desperate enough to resort to plastic surgery nowadays.

In a photo album posted her her official Facebook page entitled 'Oy with the Botox', the 45-year-old star has posted a series of incredibly candid shots of herself without a scrap of make-up on.

Writing underneath each picture, she says she took them as she got out of the bath to get ready for bed to prove to critics that she no long has any work done on her face.

Ms Hatcher said: 'Thought about all those damn critics of my face. Love it or hate it, my face that is, no surgery, no implants, no matter what "they" say. Decided I'd shoot myself to reveal some truths about "beauty" and hope it makes you all easier on yourself.'

However, the star confesses that she HAD had surgical enhancements before.

She wrote: 'Did I every toy with fillers or Botox over the years? Yes. (But) tell me does this look Botoxed to you? Yes I am alone in my bathroom naked in a towel on behalf of women everywhere trying to make a point. Women YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL.'

She added wryly on another picture of herself: 'Oh look I can raise my eyebrows and wrinkles show up on my forehead. I can also look like a monkey if I put grapes in my upper lip. It's really funny. I have to say I can't remember ever being upset enough to look like this, but I'm just making or shall I say "under LINING" a point.'

Teri also revealed that the key to many good photos of celebrities including herself was not surgery, or make-up, but good lighting.

Teri also bigs up her fellow actress and friend Julia Roberts for going Botox free in her current movie Eat Pray Love - and also showing off a few wrinkles and veins on her forehead.

She enthuses: 'Proud of Julia for being a real woman on a real journey.'

Ms Hatcher - who plays Susan Mayer in Desperate Housewives - not only gave us a glimpse of herself au naturel without her stage make-up on her official Facebook, she also gave a guided tour backstage on the Wisteria Lane set yesterday.

She gushed: 'Watch the premiere, tell your friends, have a DH party September 26th. It's a good season!'

She also revealed that her character has a fight in her lingerie with Rebecca Creskoff from hit US show Hung, who debuts a character in the new series.

The new season of the show starts in the UK next year, however.

Deal goes bust: Kelly Brook has pulled out of her contract with Ultimo


With her enviable curves and celebrity status, Kelly Brook was always expected to be a winning combination for the lingerie firm Ultimo. But just months after signing with the bra company, she is no longer the face - or bust - of the label.

Miss Brook, 30, agreed a six-figure deal with Ultimo at the start of the year and was announced as the brand's new ambassador in March.

The actress, who started out as an underwear model 14 years ago, recently appeared in an advertising campaign for Ultimo's summer collection.

But she has now pulled out of her contract, with the agreement of the company's creator, Michelle Mone, it was confirmed last night.

After being signed up by the label, Miss Brook said: 'Most people are losing their lingerie campaigns at 30, not getting new ones.'

She also praised the quality of the products she was modelling, saying: 'A good bra is so important for ensuring you get the right support. it's unbelievable how few women get measured on a regular basis. Also if you're a bigger cup like me, you need the correct support.'

But the Mail on Sunday has been told that Miss Brook will no longer be endorsing the brand, although a photoshoot of her modelling underwear for the next collection will be used in future advertising campaigns.

A source close to Miss Brook said: 'Ultimo are not happy that Kelly has left because they knew that she was the perfect signing. She is girl next door, pretty with a figure to die for and she looks great in their lingerie.'

Last night a spokesman for Miss Brook confirmed that she is no longer working with the lingerie company.

'The decision to leave was by mutual agreement,' the spokesman said.

Ultimo's models have included former Spice Girl Mel Brown, supermodel Helena Christensen, Rod Stewart's ex Rachel hunter and his current wife, Penny Lancaster.

Ms Mone recently described Miss Brook as a 'natural beauty' who is 'effortlessly sexy, making her the perfect choice for Ultimo'.

Miss Brook has hinted that she wants to move to Australia with her rugby-star boyfriend Danny Cipriani, who has signed a two-year deal with the Melbourne Rebels.

But a friend said: 'Kelly may well be relocating to Australia, but that has nothing to do with her decision to leave Ultimo. She felt that too much was being asked of her and there were some differences of opinion.'

The giggling Australian singer, 35, was having trouble getting into the waiting black cab without exposing too much after a night out with pals including David Walliams and his new model wife Lara Stone.

The hem of Natalie's dark blue and cream lace skirt clearly kept riding up the brunette beauty's endless legs - making it difficult to depart with any decorum.

The night out was an early birthday dinner for Little Britain star David, who's 39 tomorrow.

He married Lara in May this year after a whirlwind romance, but had previously been linked to former Home And Away star Natalie, with David once describing her as his 'dream woman'.

The pair have remained firm friends ever since. In fact, they're so close, Natalie was even invited to David's stag do.

And despite Natalie perhaps being a little tired after her big night out or maybe having had one too many shandies - hence needing a leg-up into the car - she looked tanned, radiant and beautiful nonetheless.

'But there are a lot of people who have an unrealistic view of their talent. It�s important to tell them the truth.'

Natalie's stint on the panel for auditions in Birmingham was filmed in June, and is set to be screened next month.

The X Factor meanwhile kicks off this Saturday on ITV1 at 7.30pm.

The constant dancing over the last year has done wonders for Ali's physique, which looked slim and toned in her Herv� L�ger bandage dress.

The 28-year-old looked stunning in the �905 dress which showed off her long legs, taut stomach and perky bottom as she posed for the cameras outside Soho restaurant Floridita.

She was celebrating the opening night of the dance show Burn The Floor, which is playing at the Shaftesbury Theatre in London's West End.

And by the huge smile on her face, the night, which was attended by members of the press and a number of famous faces, was a great success.

Joining Tointon at the bash was her former EastEnders co-star and on-screen lover Ricky Groves, who sailed off into the sunset with her character Dawn Swann last summer.

While Tointon opted for a loud dress, other glamorous female stars opted for more traditional styles.

Modern Family star Sofia Vergara celebrated her birthday and recent Emmy nomination in style while holidaying in Italy this weekend.

The 38-year-old is spending the next two weeks soaking up the sun with her boyfriend, LA-based businessman Nick Loeb.

The Colombian actress looked stunning as she paraded the shores of Ischia in a tiny white bikini.

And apparently, she plans on wearing not much else over the next fortnight

Sofia turned 38 on Saturday and celebrated with Loeb at the Ischia Film Festival and Global Fest 2010.

Wearing a long, figure-hugging chocolate gown with a plunging neckline, she blew out candles on her birthday cake and shared a birthday kiss with Loeb.

It has been an eventful week for Sofia, who was nominated for a supporting actress Emmy for her role as the sassy mother and wife Gloria in Modern Family.

She admitted she was sure Modern Family would be nominated for Outstanding Comedy but was surprised she herself was nominated.

'I'm so new to acting and America, so I didn't know it meant something when they invite you here,' she said. 'Somebody should have told me!

Sofia is also keeping busy with her latest film, as the voice of Odile in Colombia Pictures new animated film, The Smurfs.

She recently went public with the news of her relationship with Loeb.

'We're both completely in love and we can almost hear the wedding bells,' she said.

Sofia has a 19-year-old son, Manolo Gonzalez, from her ex-husband, whom she married when she was 18.

The Bahamian beauty was enjoying a little R & R during a well deserved break from her Last Girl On Earth world tour.

Rihanna took time out from some serious shopping at the upscale fashion mecca, happily posing for photos and signing autographs for her adoring public.

Despite the unseasonably cool temperatures on the west coast of America Rihanna was defintely dressed for summer, at the same time showcasing her endless legs and toned arms.


At the beginning of the week Rihanna was in Canada kicking off the North American leg of her tour with shows in Vancouver and Calgary.

This is the fourth tour for the performer and it's a worldwide one, although primarily covering Western Europe and America.

Pixie Lott, Tinchy Stryder and Tinie Tempah appeared as opening acts during the European dates, with Ke$ha and Travie McCoy providing support in America.

In an interview with American show Entertainment Tonight Rihanna explained the name of her tour: 'I like to think about myself as "The Last Girl On Earth" because sometimes people make decisions based on the outlook of others,' she said.

'And you know, to me, my life is my life. It's my world and I'm going to live it the way I want to. That's how I think about everything, that way I'm focused on me, and my work. It's a really narrow space, a focus.'
